Direct answer
Check three things: (1) end-of-warranty capacity . a real warranty promises 80% at 5 years or 3,000-6,000 cycles; (2) how "cycle" is defined (full vs partial); (3) void clauses . wrong BMS protocol, water ingress, or unauthorized series wiring. A "10-year" warranty with no capacity floor is meaningless.
Red flags
- "10-year warranty" with no stated remaining capacity.
- Cycles counted only as full 100%-0% discharge (you'll never hit the number).
- Void if used with a non-listed inverter.
