Inside a 12kW + 32kWh All-in-One: Custom Colors, Rear Ports, and a Service Hatch
This 12kW inverter and 32kWh battery unit ships yellow by default, and distributors can order blue or green instead. The walkthrough covers the front panel, rear connectors, internal layout, and the service hatch that lets you reach the BMS without tearing the cabinet apart.
Buyers compare wattage and kilowatt-hours and rarely ask what the cabinet looks like or how you service it. Once you ship in volume, those are the details you deal with every week.
Color is the cheapest customization you have
The unit ships yellow as the standard finish. Distributors and overseas buyers can order blue or green instead. For anyone running a private label, color is the simplest way to separate a line from a competitor's, with no new tooling.
The front panel carries a distinctive shape and a stainless reset switch. You never touch it in normal use, but when the unit locks up or trips into protection, that switch is the one recovery step that does not require opening the cabinet.
What 12kW + 32kWh actually means
A 12 kilowatt inverter paired with a 32 kilowatt-hour battery. The pack runs 51.2V at 628Ah, built from 314Ah cells stacked in two layers. The MPPT stage handles up to 15 kilowatts, so the solar side keeps headroom instead of being sized right at the inverter's AC rating.
Both side panels carry the inverter's cooling vents, finished with a flowing-pattern design. That is not decoration alone. In an all-in-one, the inverter is the main heat source, and side venting lets heat leave directly rather than dumping into the battery compartment.
Everything connects on one face
The back carries two MPPT inputs with MC4 terminals pre-fitted, so the array connects on site without crimping. Below that sit one air switch, two AC outputs, an AC input, and the indicator lights.
Solar in, grid in, loads out, all from a single face. Nothing has to be rotated during install, which matters in a roof space or a tight garage.
Layout and the service hatch
Inside, the inverter sits on top, the protection board below it, and the cells underneath. The layers stay clear of each other's wiring.
The part worth pointing out is the hatch over the protection board. If the board or its wiring ever needs attention, you open that panel and work, instead of stripping the cabinet. Field service is the weak point of all-in-one designs, and this hatch keeps the most common job on site.
Picking a size in this series
The series runs three steps: 3.6kW with 7.68kWh, 6kW with 16kWh, and 12kW with 32kWh. Units are built to EU specification.
Size by load, not by capacity alone. Small homes and shops sit fine at 3.6kW. A whole house running air conditioning and a pump usually needs 6kW. The 12kW + 32kWh step is for heavy loads where the house must stay up through an outage.
FAQ
- Can the unit's color be changed?
Yes. It ships yellow as standard, and distributors or overseas buyers can switch to blue or green. For anyone building a private label, color is the cheapest way to separate a product line from competitors. - How is the 12kW + 32kWh unit laid out inside?
The 12kW inverter sits on top, the protection board below it, and two layers of 314Ah cells at the bottom. The pack runs 51.2V at 628Ah. A hatch over the protection board means service does not require stripping the whole cabinet. - What connectors are on the back?
Two MPPT inputs with MC4 terminals pre-fitted, one air switch, two AC outputs, an AC input, plus indicator lights. Solar and grid in, loads out, all from one face, so nothing has to be turned around to wire.
